Lauren Handville Awarded Certificate of Appreciation from "Locks of Love"

August, 2015:

Lauren Handville, 3D’s Manager of Operations, recently made a personal donation to the Locks of Love, oneLauren Handville Locks of Love that literally took her three years to create.  Guidelines state that all donations must be at least 10 inches in length tip to tip, so patience and dedication are required on the part of the donor.  Lauren certainly exemplifies those attributes.  As a valued member of the 3D family who will soon celebrate her 5th work anniversary, Lauren sets high customer service standards for her team, resulting in frequent praise from our advisors and partners.

Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. Locks of Love meets a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. The prostheses Locks of Love provides help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.  To find out more about this wonderful organization go to

3D Hosts Phone-a-Thon for the Laurel East Hartford Swim Club (LEHY)

February, 2015:

3D Asset Management recently hosted the East Hartford YMCA LEHY high school swim team as all joined in a call-a-thon to raise money for the Y’s Annual Campaign.  Arriving at 3D’s offices straight from swim practice the team raised over $2,100 in one evening to move the Y toward its 2015 goal of $95,000.  The funds will be used to provide scholarships to area youth who otherwise would not be able to afford the cost of the YMCA’s various camps, athletics and development programs.

Flanking the swimmers are Michael Kerrigan, Executive Director of the East Hartford YMCA (on the right) and John O’Connor, president of 3D Asset Management and YMCA Board Member (on the left).  This marks the third year the swim team and 3D have joined forces to help the Y.

For over forty years, the Laurel East Hartford YMCA Swim Club (LEHY) has been developing
youth to reach his/her highest potential through the sport of swimming. Using the YMCA Core Values of CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT, and RESPONSIBILITY, LEHY coaches work to instill commitment, dedication, teamwork, and a love of swimming in each and every member of the club.
